According to the existing KVS rules. Social Study is taught in Kendriya Vidyalayas only in English & Hindi.
School Academic Year-2009-10
The academic year starts from 1st April and ends on 31st March of the following year
Eligibility:
At the time of admission to class I, the child should complete 5 years as on 30th September.
EXAMINATION :
In each academic year the Vidyalaya will hold following tests and examinations.
Unit Tests
Unit Test will be held in the 3rd week of July, September and January
Cumulative Test:
Cumulative test will be held in the 3rd week of November.
Session Ending Examination:
Session ending examination will be held in the 3rd week of March.
ASSESSMENT RULES:
The final assessment of the pupil for promotion is decided on the basis of the annual record of the pupil for maximum marks in each subject distributed as follows:
