  • Classes of  XI Sc for the session 2014-15 will start from 01.07.14 onwards on regular time.
  • In XIIth CBSE Board 2014 Result - Pass Percentage is 100 %.
  • Inservice Training Course 2014 (First Spell) for PRTS has started with Inaugrural function on 23 .5. 14 and it will continue upto 03-6-14 in our Vidyalaya premises.
  • In xth CBSE 2014 Result - Pass Percentage is 100 % and 15 students got 10 C.G.P.A.
  • Summer Vacation for 2014-15 starts from 04.05.2014 to 22.06.14 and School will reopen on 23.6.14 at 7.30 a.m.
  • 5-days a week with saturday off for primary classes (I to V) is implemented in our vidyalaya from 01.04.2014.

  • Annual Academic Inspection 2013-14 will be held in our Vidyalaya on 12.09.2013.
  • SA1 Exam for classes III to X is postponed and exam will start from 19.9.2013 onwards and regular classes will going on upto 18.09.2013.
  • 26th Regional Youth Parliament Competition 2013 was held in our Vidyalaya on 27.8.2013.
  • Ku. Anisha Sinha of Class IX- A won 1st prize in "Governors Trophy " for Odishsi Classical Dance on behalf of Angul Dist. on 30-04-2013.

Brief Description of the Vidyalaya

Kendriya Vidyalaya , Angul established in the year 1995 is the unique institute of its kind affiliated to CBSE , New Delhi and has been catering to the needs of children belonging to transferable Central Govt. Employees, Defence Employees as well as the floating population of the district since its inception. It provides excellent academic opportunity from class I to XII both in primary and secondary education with NCERT & CBSE courses . Training is imparted for the development of the personality through various Co-Curricular activities . A sense of patriotism and leadership quality is developed among the students through sports and games , Scout and guides , Regional science exhibition and Quiz competition . Important values such as Honesty, Sincerity, Punctuality and National Integration are inculcated among the students with the help of a group of dedicated, devoted and highly qualified teachers and Principal..

KVS has a four fold Mission :-
